Intro :
Kyungpook National University Museum is divided into six exhibition rooms that house 7,000 items including metals, precious stones and ceramics. In particular, the outdoor museum, which surrounds the museum building, is worth visiting. On the lawn of the outdoor museum called "Cheongpawon" stand stone pagodas, stone Buddha status, and sarira stupas (a pagoda preserving relics of the Buddhist monks) . Among them are the beheaded stone Buddha statues in one line, which offer a grand sight. At the entrance of the building, there are two sarira stupas with lively relief carvings. They were made during the Goryeo Dynasty and designated as Treasure no. 135 & 258, respectively.
