Intro :
This stone lantern is located inside the Buinsa Temple, designated as Tangible Cultural Properties No. 16 on May 30, 1988. Stone lanterns are placed in front of stone pagodas as a symbol to enhance respect for Buddha in people’s minds. The stone lantern of Buinsa Temple is well preserved in its original shape and shows the builders’ excellent skill in carving lotus flowers. It has aesthetic beauty in balance and harmony, too.
