  • West Pagoda of Buinsa Temple (second image)
Intro :
This pagoda stands in a line with the Stone Lantern in Buinsa Temple. There used to be two identical pagodas here but only the west one was restored in 1964. It is in a typical pagoda style with a two-stepped foundation and a three-story body. Therefore, it is thought that the two pagodas were constructed originally during the Unified Silla period (668-935). This west pagoda was selected as Local Tangible Cultural Property No. 17 on May 30, 1988 by the City of Daegu.
